About GMSI

     Starting out in the home of the University of Georgia, GMSI (Gemini Microsystems International) was first realized in Athens, Georgia USA. After engineering web service solutions under the name of Survisoft, GMSI went on to perform operating systems research. The culmination of this research led to the Salgix operating system product, which spawned a number of other related products. Now GMSI produces workstation and server solutions for digital media enterprises. Maintaining the Salgix distribution, GMSI takes full advantage of its broad and widely supported GNU/Linux-based platform and continues to develop its core technologies.
